Announcing Realtime Object Usage Statistics

Realtime Object Usage Statistics is a Microsoft Dynamics NAV customization that enables tracking when users access Forms, Pages and/or Reports. This is accomplished by installing a small tracking code into every NAV UI object. The data is gathered into a log table that can then be easily used for analysis. Through an innovative and easy to use utility, you can install and uninstall that tracking code as needed.

When implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV, upgrading between versions, or migrating customers from the Classic client to the Role Tailored Client, an area that has been consistently challenging is an understanding of how which users make use of which parts of the system. This lack of information can lead to a variety of problems:

• Unnecessary customizations are brought forward, time and time again, raising the cost of every upgrade
